YEMEN. Mujahideen impose Sharia Law in over 10% of Yemen

Sources from Yemenreported  with reference to the al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), currently at least 10% of the country is controlled by the Mujahideen.

This information has been confirmed by the Emir of AQAP in Islamic Province of Abyan, Abu Hamza al-Marqashi. Full details are still unclear, says UmmaNews .

Meanwhile, the battles for southern Yemen, where a victory, according to the analysts, will determine the fate of not only this country but the entire Arabian Peninsula, are continuing. So, on Tuesday, at least four Yemeni military puppets have been eliminated as a result of roadside bombs on the eastern outskirts of the southern port city of Aden, reports Xinhua.

A mine had exploded near the checkpoint Al-Alam on the eastern outskirts of Aden, when an army patrol was passing near. Checkpoint Al-Alam is located on the main highway connecting Aden and Zinjibar (see map).

Friday (May 25):

- AQAP Mujahideen released 2 soldiers who were captured during the operation in the Al-Kawd (see map) in the Province of Abyan last month. They were told- "If you come back again, we will come back again". The soldiers pledged repentance and pledged to no longer fight against Islam. Later they were handed over to tribal mediators, and then to their relatives.

Saturday (May 26):

- During the heavy fightings between the Mujahideen and puppet forces in the village of Al-Maraqid east of Zinjibar, more than 9 of military puppets were killed,15 injured, two tanks and military ambulances were destroyed.

- In the battles for the area of al-Jabalayn in the al-Hurur region (see map) in the Province of Abyan several enemy soldiers were killed or wounded, two Mujahideen were martyred (Insha'Allah).

- At 11 o'clock the warships struck several blows to the countryside of the coastal town of Shukri (see map) in Abyan, there were no injuries.

- In the town of Azzan (see map) in the Province of Shabwa Mujahideen released 3 soldiers captured during the operation. They repented and promised no longer to fight against Islam.

- At 11:00 am an American drone fired at a car carrying a group of Muslims in the region of al-Manas in the way of Al-Khans, including Sheikh al-Qaeda Dahab - one of the leaders of the tribe of qayfa. Two local residents and a Mujahid were killed, four Muslims were injured.

Sunday (May 27):

- Tanks operated by fighters of AQAP fired on the structures of puppets in the regions of Sakin and Ais in the Province of Abyan.

- An airstrike on the outskirts of the town of Waqar took place, there were no victims.

- Bombardment by the puppet regime took place using missiles such as Katyusha in the suburbs of Kanfar Mountain and outskirts of the town of Waqar, losses among the Mujahideen and the civilian population were negligible.

- AQAP Mujahideen released 2 soldiers who were captured during the operation. The soldiers repented and promised no longer to fight against Islam.

- At 9:00 pm a warship was shelling the village of Al-Shaka in the coastal town of Shukri in Abyan, there were no injuries.

Monday (May 28):

- Puppets fired a missile to the town of Waqar which exploded near a Mutah Mosque, resulting in injuries to a local resident.

- AQAP Mujahideen released another 2 soldiers who were captured during the operation. They repented and promised no longer to fight against Islam.
